Especially when it's sudden.

I've just learned that a friend of mine from my church was in the grocery store yesterday talking to another friend in the produce department. This friend said she felt dizzy, keeled over, and died of a heartattack right there in the grocery store! :(

Yeh... death sucks for everyone except the dead person, I suspect.
I'm terribly sorry you lost your friend :(

My son's 15 year old friend was killed Saturday afternoon in a car accident. The boy had been in my husband's Sunday School class 3 years ago. I can't even imagine . . .

I'll be remembering the boy's family, friends and church community etc. in my prayers. If you're interested, I posted some information about what I've found to be a helpful pamphlet series in the Abbey Press series in response to Janice's same post about this on NACR. The title which came to mind was "When Death Comes Unexpectedly to One you Love"---but there are many other helpful titles for this and other topics in the series, and they all have mini-bibliographies at the end which I've found useful too.

Grace and peace--

Theodora

Take heart. One day, all these tears and suffering will be over when He appears!
