Checking in to see how everyone is doing and hoping old pals are doing well.
It has been a looooong time. I/we are doing well and happy in our "post-church" life. What a relief it has been to step out and meet "normal" people again. :)
We live in a bible belt section of the country, so I was a bit careful when I registered to take a class in quilting. So glad I did! Have met lots of fun people. Have been able to provide some solace and understanding for gals who had experienced "SA" without knowing what it was.
Hugs to all

Hi AM,
I sure do remember you. Wondered when you would stop by and say hello.
Glad to hear you're doing well.
My escape to meet "normal people" again has been the golf course. Although I have been fortunate to find a relatively healthy church where there are a lot of
"normal people".
Hope you can stick around. I value the many excellent posts from you.

Let's see "normal" weeeellllll
Well one is very tall and medium wide, one is only tall and less than medium wide and one is short and wide (that's me!) The rest look just about the same as that... only they have a real vocabulary and never say things like:
God told me...
I have a word for you...
Hallelujah - amen...
You are a sinner and will go to hell... (even if they might think it ROFLOL)
When were you saved?
What committee are you on?
It's more like
This %#?# sewing machine...
Can't sew %¤#%# 1/4 inch seams...
Do you have a seam ripper?
Want to go out for a glass of wine?

glad you checked in. Still looking for work. We lost Rigoletto last summer, but have Boo who is sweet as can be. Tammy had a medical scare a few months back. Thankfully all tests were negative and she is fine. I have not had a chance to chat with her lately. Seems to be doing OK. Bambi still plays the online game of chicken. Shelly and I responded by fixing some popcorn watching a movie online.

Hi Anna, what a friendly face I see. I havent been coming here much at all. But nows a good time to come back a little. Im experiencing a lot of lonliness again. Good news is my husband and I are actually going to the early morning service of a church near us and we absolutely love it. Love, love it, love it. Cant say enough good things about it. Ive been sick this week but otherwise we are fine. So good to know you are doing ok.
