For many of us Easter can be a really triggering weekend. Some still go into orbit hearing anything evangelical. It is too close for comfort after our groups. For some a weekend with the dysfunctional family is as welcome as dental surgery. There may be other factors as well.
In any case, if any one needs to check in, the virtual coffee pot will be stoked.
We seem to be weathering the layoff well. Shelly has been very accepting of the situation. That is a definite sign of growth. She feels good about learning to drive. In many respects, the layoff was answered prayer. The job just was not working out. I was not alone in my frustrations.
I have not heard from Bambi, but her soon to be sister in law reached out. She is cultivating a relationship with the Lord on her own. Her testimony has really been encouraging. It is answered prayer. She is starting to look really good and I am proud of her.
My goals are to try to get back towards the east side of Cleveland to be closer to church and also St Charles College. The library is treasure of inspirational readings. Of course I will go where the Lord leads. Right now I am anxious to move within reasonable driving distance of church.
