I read these scriptures this morning and the reality of what God is going to do to those who have abused us and those who God is angry with became very real. It's kind of scary.
God gets angry. Woe be to those who cause Him to be angry. The patience of God is incredible. His anger is being stored up for the times He says here.
We can take comfort in these scriptures to know that one day the God of Justice will judge them. We have His Word on it. He is our high tower of refuge where we can go in times of trouble. We can feel somewhat satisfied knowing God will take care of business. Hopefully we can rest from some of our struggles knowing this.
De 32:22 For a fire is kindled by my anger, And shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
Ps 21:9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, And the fire shall devour them.
Ps 97:3 A fire goes before Him, And burns up His enemies round about.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by His sword The LORD will judge all flesh; And the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Mal 4:1 "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the LORD of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.
Zep 3:8 "Therefore wait for Me," says the LORD, "Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All my fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy.
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2Pe 3:11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
