I am so angry I could spit nails!!!!!!!! I double checked this with the pharmacy last fri to make sure there would be no problem this morning getting these pills. I was on the phone with the pharmacy this morning and guess what....major problem!!!!!!!!!!!!! My anxiety level is almost thru the roof right now!!!!!! The have no record of any refills when the pharmacist I talked to on fri said there was!!!! Of course, I don’t know the name of the one I talked to. It's one of 2 and they are both off today!!! The pharmacy now has to call my dr. & get it straighted out. I'm not even sure he has office hrs. today! I know he will probably be so pissed at another call!!!
I have to go to work soon, today is moms birthday, we have a new puppy in the house and I have got way too much to do today to deal with all of this too!!!!!!!!!!!! This is it...I'm gonna crack for sure!!!!!!

Hi Janice, I'm new here you won't know me yet, my name is Rachael. I read your message with a lot of compassion as I have been to the pharmacy many more times than I would like to say. I used to always lose my temper with the pharmacists and everyone else. I am not sure what changed my attitude except that I got better pain meds and a little more respect from my doctors. I find out that when my doctors take too long to respond now, I don't wait for them I find new doctors, who will, or go to the emergency room if it is serious enough. One thing think I have learned though is that the right words at the pharmacy make the immediate difference.
:) Can I have some to tide me over until my doctor calls back/the situation is over etc? Please. Then show them the empty bottle with the date and everything intact. This will let them know you are just trying to refill. also will not work for triplicates as they can't do that for triplicates, that I know of.
:o Compliments work wonders
:p Bring a friend who knows what to say for me. Make sure you have a friend who will say what you want to say and not something else though, this can get embarrassing.
Anyhow hope this helps. Also maybe bring one of those helpful daily devotionals to the pharmacy to read before you lose it. Or call 1-800-pharmacy-Ilostit-numbers LOL :)
hope this helps!
Rachael
