I was fired today for creating an unsafe work environment for Bambi. Still quite shaken. Tired and depressed.

It has been a codependent three ring circus between Bambi, HR, and I. The sad thing if Bambi and I had just sat down and talked, it would have never blown up. I feel the Lord closed the doors on the job.

When I step back it seems as if there was one misunderstanding piled on top of another. It is still not over. Bambi lives in the neighborhood where I go to church.

What brought about my demise was when a friend of Bambi had posted a note on her Facebook page asking where she was and she was missed. I emailed the friend and share my concerns. Somehow the friends got together. Bambi was upset at my concerns and could not understand how I, a perfect stranger, got in the middle of this one. The friend reported me to my employer. Trying to explain this to HR was going to be a lost cause, so I resigned myself to my fate. I was typecasted and fired for creating an unsafe work environment.

I can see where my employer was coming from. I can see how Bambi and her friend feel. My wife and I are having great difficulty trusting the Lord throughout this. Of he is not to blame. Nevertheless we thought my wife and were doing the right thing.

The big thing is trying to apply for unemployment. It will be needed for sure. The unemployment rate in Northeast Ohio is sky high. I have a feeling I may have to relocate again. The other thing I would love to have is good nights sleep. This has been a rare commodity.

What a bummer exshep. It's times like this that just don't make sense. Jerry's right. Try not to give too much anxious thought. Take the time you need to think clearly before you make any important decisions.

Will keep you in my prayers.

I have just been delivered from an ongoing trial I had for the last few years. A good friend of mine told me.

"GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED"

He sure does.

So sorry to hear this shep... hang in there... my husband started a job today that told him five times, no thanks... he finally walked into the office to introduce himself and sell himself...and was offered the job the next day! May you get better than you lost and see that the Lord was in it after all!:)

I have got started somewhat in second gear. Still exhausted from all the grieving. Having trouble trying to get into the groove.

Sorry to hear about the job and all of the turmoil around it.

My prayers go to you and your family--that God will direct your steps and that He will give you favor with prospective employers.

You mentioned that your felt like the Lord closed the door--if that is the case, it will work out--sometimes it gets rough before it gets better. I pray the rough season will be short and God will bless you.

Prayer alert: Both my wife and I cleared a phone interview with flying colors. Pray that we can clear the assessment and interview. Job could start early as next week. Will have to relocate at once, but who is complaining.

Ya hoo! No use complaining, as my mom used to say, no use in it because you have to put up with whatever it is anyway so you might as well look for the light."

Hugs to you both

Shelly does not do well interviewing. Pray that she can get her thoughts collected. I have extensive job search experience, so I have been coaching her.

Cleared the testing. Shelly and I interview tomorrow. The place is something of a boiler room doing back up for a cel phone company. It's a living, especially in the North East Ohio economy.

Wow ex-shep...that's a lot to go through. My heart sank when I read the title of the thread.

Great news about the phone interview. The right doors always seem to open...

Good thoughts and prayers for you and yours.
