My husband usually doesn't want to talk about spiritual abuse and that makes conversation difficult at times. He’s of the “forget-about-it-and-it-will-go-away” school, or at least he’d like to be but knows better now.
This morning, though, he surprised me with a long description of an adult cartoon he’s been viewing called “Moral Orel.” It’s claymation and supposed to look like Davey and Goliath only it’s a farce more on the 1950s family sitcoms than on D&G.
Anyone heard of it? Seen it? I guess some people find it offensive but it sounds as if it’s giving hubby some deeper understanding of himself and of me. We weren’t spiritually abused in the same group so we came to the relationship with our own separate issues in this regard.
I was very encouraged that he’s willing to think and talk and explore in his own way even if it almost made me miss my bus.
