Anybody who has been following my posts may remembered my being out of work after I filed a harassment complaint against an employee whose hypervigilence was driving me to distraction. HR said that my complaints were groundless and would not taken any accusations without witnesses. HR got a firsthand up close and personal look at her fight/flight reactions. I was standing at the front reception desk talking to a gal who works in HR along with two receptionists.
Unbeknownst to me was the fact that Bambi was running up the sidewalk late for work. I turned around to go out the door for some fresh air as she was trying to badge in the front door. I politely let her in, "after you". She smiled gamely in front of all of us, panicked and ran to her desk. Ginny, the HR rep, smiled "don't worry, Shep, you're OK".
I am sitting here remember the OPS director chewing me out that she did not want to hear any complaints against Bambi without witness. Oh, Mrs Wilson, does one purchasing agent, an HR generalist, and two receptionists count? :p:D
