You are a VERY gifted writer and your blog mentioned in response to "Ontheroad's" post re depression is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks so much for joining us here and for your invitation to join YOU on your blog. (I'm a bit "shy" about such things, so won't do that at the moment, but I did want to tell you that I'd read three of your recent posts, including the poignant one on Martin Luther King's day. BRAVO!)
Are there specific issues that have brought you to post on the "Spiritual Abuse" board, or might you also like to join us on the more general "Open Forum" board? Like myself, I know that others there have also struggled with depression which you have said is a problem for yourself as well.
Have you ruled out underlying physical causes for that? As a person with chronic illness of varying descriptions, including chemical sensitivities and food allergies, I know that getting out of "balance" /overloaded with things that aren't "good" for me can really affect my mood.
I was also wondering whether you have happened on the "Restministries" site for those with chronic illness. They have a daily meditation site which is written by members which I have found helpful and comforting. If interested, that is at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chronicpaindevotional/
Grace and peace to you and yours this day! And again....welcome to the board(s)! I don't post here as often as I do on the NACR board since my "issues" don't primarily relate to "Spiritual Abuse." I do, however, read the posts here as often as possible. Do know that you and your concerns will be in my prayers.
You seem to be a very special person and I look forward to "knowing" you a bit more!!!
Sincerely,
Theodora
