Sorry I have not posted in a while. Been lurking with no time to actually sit down and write. Lately it is dealing with a darling little (catch sarcasm) hate group that has popped up in my town. I really don't know how to handle these people!
They have decided that it their duty to pray out all evil in the town. Now, their cause sounds good, pray for those places who are not all that great. However, how they are doing it is what is to the point of causing this town to revolt. They got a google map and listed all the places they are "praying" (they protest outside the buildings and call in for places to be closed down and find reasons for them to close down) for and listed every place and why. One this list were the two most prominate churches in town (they let homosexuals worship), the nature center (fire circle) and a coffee shop (they let pagans and homosexuals drink coffee there) and other places wrongly listed. Yesterday they shut down a local live theatre. The listed it as a "gay theatre" which it is not at all, but they were presenting "Bent" and this group decided to shut it down, this was my friend's theatre. That is just the map and not what is on their mission statement. That is a whole other layer of puke
I honestly don't know what to do about these people. We are calling them the Texas Taliban.
Oh and they were formed from the same brand of church I got out of so I don't know if that is what is triggering me to revolt so much
