How can I upload an avatar with my personal photo?

On my OCD board and my atheist board, I use an avatar with my real photo since I am not ashamed of who I am and I let people see the real me, mental scarring and all. Shame is something I associate with my former Christian cult, not with the person I am now. In addition, when people realize that I am real person and not some nameless Internet entity, there is a chance they will be less abusive.

How do I upload my photo avatar here--or is that not a possibility? I went to FAQ, but all I found was this:

I cannot find this Dale Ryan's address.

In addition, if I try to e-mail the administration, my message will go to the same "Jeff" who ignored my request for information before I joined the board. Obviously, writing to this character is like trying to write to my sister's cat.
