unchristian is a book written from research the Barna Group has done into the perceptions of people in the US (in particular) actually see Christians. I personally found it interesting what and why negative perceptions including why those from outside the church see it as "hypocritical," "insensitive," and "judgemental" to name just a few perceptions of the church the Barna Group found.

Here is a video of the author discussing the book

Thank you for refreshing my memory. Yes, the author was interviewed on Moody Radio news show a few months ago. I was nodding my head in agreement. Good read. Highly recommend.

We have fun with it in the Christianese posts. Do an archive search. It is worth it.
