Can anyone instruct me on how to post multiple quotes (the blue areas) in one posting? NCL, you did it and so have others.
Take pity on this poor woman... :(

Hi AM,
I usually hit the quote button on multiple posts and copy and paste the text into a text editor program. The [ quote ] command shows up with an = after it and the name of the person you are quoting.
Does this help?

I have a little program called textedit on my apple computer, but word would work. I almost would have to help you in person. It's hard to explain it in writing!

When editing, I use cut-n-paste a lot. To get the multiple fragments of quoting, I start my reply to the post by hitting the Quote button (bottom right of the post) which loads the content as a single lump of quoted material. The syntax for quoting should then be evidence in your web browser as you edit. You'll see a left square bracket, the word QUOTE, then an equals sign, then the name of the user being quoted, then a right square bracket ... then the text of the post ... then a left square bracket, /QUOTE, and right square bracket.
Okay, you can then separate out the bits you want to respond to, and ensure that each fragment is quoted in the way I've described above. I generally copy the first QUOTE bit, including all the bits and the brackets, and past it at the beginning of each section of quoted text ... and then copy the /QUOTE bit between the brackets, and paste that at the end of each section of quoted text.
Lastly, I type my responses in-line between the quoted sections.

Hi Ana Marta!:)
This is how I do it....
I select the sentences I want to quote....
then hit "copy" from the "Edit" menu on my browser..
then I put the cursor where I want it to be in my post then I "paste" it in the post (from Edit drop down menu you hit "paste")
then I re-select/highlight what I want to be in the quotes blue box...(that would be the sentences I just pasted in my post)
then in the upper right corner I see the quotes icon (it looks like a balloon from comic strips) I click on it (making sure all the info I want in the quotes is highlighted/selected first before clicking the icon)
doing this should create a quote blue box around the words that were selected/highlighted.
Good luck!! :D
PS if this is too late then just disregard....:o

Sometimes I tell my mom to just shut off the computer and that usually solves the problem! :)
