I have had difficulty trying to call customers telling them their pink chairs were discontinued by the manufacturer.
Another associate made a great blooper:
I am sorry the attendence forms were absent from the order. I guess they were late leaving the warehouse.
Somehow that could have been worded better.
Just another day at the office.

Too late.
We have two cuties who come with their folks to open AA meeting. A nine year girl was playing horsey with a kindergartner who comes with the secretary of one of our meetings. I shared a child's limerick from the Oxford Book of Childrens Verse which my mother used with me when I was so high. The kindergartner and her mother were loving every minute of it. The nine year old looked daggers at me. Not missing a beat, I turned to her, "Of course, you may be a little too old for that".
