Haven't updated you all for awhile.
Things are basically the same. STILL have the ostomies which STILL give me trouble and prevent me from doing the things I want most of the time. STILL on the TPN for 12 hrs. a day, and STILL healing.
The docs said this would be a very long, slow healing process. THEY DIDN'T LIE!
At my last doc visit, the doc was pleased. He said my abdomen is softening up nicely and is looking at September for a reversal surgery.
It will be an 8 hr. surgery. He says, "It's tricky & I only have one shot at this." so, YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS are deeply appreciated!
I haven't been losing weight but, I haven't been gaining either. Been stuck between 110 and 113 lbs. for months now. Doc increased the fat & calories in my TPN 2 weeks ago in hopes of some weight gain. He's like to see me at 120lbs. for surgery. The increase in the meds doesn't seem to have done any good. I'm still not gaining.
I DO feel stronger and am able to do a little more. It's only recently my brain has gotten back to normal and I feel comfortable making decisions.
So.....continuing to take this ONE DAY AT A TIME! I cannot do it any other way. I AM having more good days then bad days now so, I spose that's sumthin.
Enjoying my new grandaughter. My grandson is so protective of her. It's so cute!
Like I asked earlier, please continue to pray for me. I want to wake up from surgery and see NO BAGS!!
I pray the Lord guides the docs hands and my surgery will be a COMPLETE SUCCESS IN JESUS' NAME!
I honestly can't have it any other way. It just HAS to work!!!
