Hello all. It's been a wild and wacky month for me and my family.

First, I'd like to announce we have left the abusive church. The final Sunday we were there, they "blessed us" and told us God speed since we are moving clear across the country. I am so free, I could never have imagined I would ever feel like this. However, I received an email from head pastor saying he believes this is only for a "season." Yeah right! I'm not going back to the insane asylum. They are controlling right down to the bitter end.

Although we lost our home, a family member opened their doors to us. We have been blessed with a roof over our heads and one where we are moving out of state this Saturday. It's been tough though, since we weren't sure how anything was going to take place.

God blew my mind over the last few weeks. It started when the relative we are staying with exchanged our car (a real clunker) for his newer car. I couldn't believe it. No one has ever given me anything. Others have blessed us with money to get there, a roof over our heads, clothes for the kids, snacks for the trip and my own sister is giving me a portable dvd player for the trip. (It's 22 hours...with a five and a one year old )

All in all, I am so grateful. Thanks to all who prayed for us. God has done beyond what I could have ever thought of. I thank each one of you for your love and support during this difficult transistion. You really provided me with the love and encouragement I needed to leave the abusive church.

However, Murphy's Law, when things are going well, watch out...it'll change.

Please keep my son in your prayers...he has been spiking a fever and has a weird rash on his feet. They think it's just strep, but we have an appointment in the morning.

I'll talk to you soon as I get our internet set up.

God bless each of you,
BH Sheep

Go! Go! Go! As my teenagers used to say, "We're blowing this Popsicle stand!" Actually that's a good analogy when you think of the quality of Christianity you experienced, they're probably not even qualified to run a stand!!!

Dear Broken Hearted Sheep,

I'm glad you are getting away. Look at this as a new beginning. Keep your eyes opened so that you don't get
taken in by another controlling group.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!!

PS I hope your boy is doing well.
LOVE,
FIJ

I moved out of state to break free from my abusive group. It was the best thing I ever did. The relationship with my parents was not great either, so it was good to get out from under their control. I am happy for you and wish the best of recovery.

Thank you all, we arrived last night. My son had hand, foot and mouth disease. Ewww! That meant we couldn't leave until Tues. It was a good trip. I have limited access to internet right now so I'll check in when I can.

Look forward to seeing you hooked up to the internet. I recently moved out of treacherous quarters myself. It must be a nice feeling to be moved out.

I pray that the relocation will be the fresh start you needed.

That disease made the rounds of my daughter's family. I didn't see them until they were better, but I missed my grandchildren for those few weeks!
