Today definitely took on comic dimensions. One woman had to call a customer and explain why his right hand desk was canceled. I was having extremely difficulty keeping a straight as she matter of factly explained that two left hands were shipped in error. It had all the makings of a Bob Newhart sketch. I turned to her deadpan, "So I understand the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing".
Almost on queue, Laurie emailed the team to see if anyone needed help. I replied I did not, but if she had Abbey Road or Sgt Peppers, I might be interested. Apparently the Beatles were before her time. The references to John, Paul, George, and Ringo completely eluded her. The senior members of the team gave her grief about that omission. Just another day at the office.
