Went & saw my surgeon today.
I am UP to a whopping 123lbs!!! WooHooo! I was 91 lbs 3 weeks ago!
This IV nutrition is working! However, one of the side effects is retaining water which I'm sure some of the weight is comming from. My left leg is swollen like a balloon. Partly from the TPN and partly from an old blood clot that's still there.
He wants me to see a vasculor surgeon in a month to see if there's something he can do non-surgically for me.
As far as my reversal surgery goes to remove the ostomy bags....looks like it will be several months yet. I'm healing but slowly. He says he only has one chance and he wants to get it right. I need to be in just the right shape for him to perform this 8 hr. surgery. He says it'll be a "tricky" one but... I KNOW I will have angels all around that operating table!
God WILL NOT LET ME DOWN. He didn't create me with bags. I was made in His image. My body MUST line up to the Word of God and it will!!
I will come out of that surgery with no bags and everything working properly again.
