Any Doctor will tell you that patient morale is a very important element in patient recovery.This brings me to a question.Why do those with higher levels of education,seem to have a diminished capacity for common sense ???

Wouldn't it make sense to give patients access to a "Web Browser" of some type ??? Maybe not a full service computer ,,,,but something like "Web-Tv" ??? They could view their e-mail ,,,,,,,,perhaps over a messenger chat with "Net" friends....maybe have a couple of laughs,,,if it doesn't hurt too much.......Find things to read that interest them.....Yes I know this is thinking way outside the "Box" for the educated.........

Nope,,,,I guess it is better to lay in bed ,,,,,crap in a metal dish,,,,,stare at the ceiling,,,,,,or watch cable Tv with the cheepest programing you can buy....With the "High Point" of the day being when the "Air-Head" Candy Striper comes in at 11 pm and offers you a firckin piece of fruit !!!!! :mad:
