i could barely breathe when i saw the website, not to mention the new years letter sent to me by the abusive church.

i wish they felt the same physical pain they inflict on others.

i am desperately struggling with the verses that call us to turn the other cheek, when someone steals from you, dont' demand they return what was stolen, if they take from you, give them more.

Granted these are my own paraphrases, but I weep, not understanding why God would have us give in to them. I can't see that any good will come of it,
not after seeing my father weep on his birthday, knowing what they were going to do.

I think ALL of the spiritually abused have great difficullty with "turning ones cheek." I know I do! I say lord i forgive them and then i see this webpage and boom....anger, fear, outrage, etc.

Sa is a special kind of abuse. Jesus is so personal. Our only hope, our king and saviour. When someone ruins that image....
