Another entry for the cust service archives
I had the honor of calling a receptionist at a rural store. Either her coffee had not taken hold or she was president of the local chapter of the Slow Talkers of America.
Cust: Barnyard Car -- pet.
Shep: This is Shep from Office Tran calling regarding your order for the High Back Excecutive chair. I do apologize, but the item is on backorder. We do not anticipate getting it in until around the first of February.
Cust : [After a long pause] Well, you are calling to .... tell me .... that the chair we order is on .... backorder.
Shep: Yes Ma'am. That is correct.
Cust: Well, Em. So you are tellling me the chair is not coming is on backorder. Well, I guess somebody is going to have to stand.
