HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here are some Borrowisms & thoughts of mine to contemplate for the NEW YEAR!

Don't worry too much if some don't make sense to you. They did to me when I wrote them. I'll have to reread some later and see if they still do. . :) ;)

I don't remember what I forgot yesterday because I can't remember it today.

I wish I could remember what I did yesterday so that it won't happen again today.

What we do today will matter when it happens tomorrow.

When I was younger I knew everything. Today I found out I didn't know anything then.

I wish I had the answers to all my questions. That's why I read a lot. But the more I read, I figure it's going to take me a million years to achieve that.

I don't know why people keep complaining about their rights. To me, it seems, that the only right we have is oxygen, food and shelter. For a lot of people those are the things they don't have and should be complaining about.

Why don't a lot of people believe in the God of The Bible? I don't know. But ask a Christian, I'm sure they do.

I pray the day never comes when laughter is intellectual.

I hope - HOPE never means not
H- Having O - Optimism P - Previewing E - Eternity.

When will people wake up and smell the roses and not the coffee?

When you have enough, do you have enough?

Personally, when I know I have enough, that's when I like another beer.

I love the country I live in and that's why I like to travel.

When I really love someone, I hate them when they don't love me.

I wish we had more air. Then I wouldn't have to breath so hard at times.

If I didn't worry so much then I wouldn't have to worry about worrying.

If I knew why I was born, I would have started thinking about it a lot earlier.

I'm glad I was born in a country with a lot of room. Because if it became too crowded I'd have to move.

When I was younger, I couldn't wait until I was older. Now that I'm older - what was I thinking?

I always wanted to have more money. Now that I do, I can't figure out why I seem to be broke and in debt. Having said that, do buying more things literally still make sense?

I love women even though they say NO to me occasionally. When I do, I wish they would love me the same way.

I have so much more free time today. So why is it I feel I don't have enough?

My life is such a paradox. That's why I don't know why I'm in such a dilemma.

The paradox is really the pathos of intellectual life and just as only great souls are exposed to passions it is only the great thinker who is exposed to what I call paradoxes, which are nothing else than grandiose thoughts in embryo.
Søren Kierkegaard (1813-55), Danish philosopher.

If I knew what was going to happen tomorrow, I would do everything today to prevent it if it wasn't good.

I am very fortunate to have some good friends that I highly value. Hope they think that way about me.

I would really like to talk a lot more than I do at times. But I find it hard to find others who will listen. So, that's why I write a lot.

What I value very highly in Freedom. I think I value Peace even more. But would I sacrifice one for the other? Hope I never have to make the choice.

You've got some good & interesting stuff there!

The one I quoted is of particular significance for me (being my chosen name). May I use it?

(I'm planning to make it a legal change this year)

Sure. Please remember where you got it from. ;)
