We learned on 24 Dec. that my dear mom-in-law has breast cancer. As my children, their dad and I have been dealing w/ the years of spiritual abuse (it's been 31 mo. when I got out), this news is drawing us even closer. Your prayers would be welcomed.

Hey SueJean... thanks for letting us know of your sad discovery. I'll certainly hold you in my heart as you go through processing this bad news. May your MIL pull through this diagnosis successfully as my cousin did in 2005.

My dear mom-in-law's name is Ruth. Thank you so much for your understanding and prayer support. She's 93, comes from the "old school" -- oh, I'm fine. I have a strong constitution. No need to fuss. Now, that's enough.
Yet, she'll run to the toilet some 14 x a day. OK, so I'm exaggerating. You get the idea. sigh. I'm not going to change her (duh). Gotta learn that, gotta learn that. I can only change myself. I'm breathing. Already saw the chiropractor this AM. I started yoga; then stopped. I'll return to it as I liked stretching and listening to pleasant instrumental music.

Dear SueJean,

I am praying for your mother-in-law... At her age, breast cancer often does not have the ominous prognosis that it does at younger ages. I was young when diagnosed 17 years ago with extensive breast CA - and I'm still here, having had only surgical treatment (no radiation or chemo).

Praying for you, your family and everyone here...

mary
