Just viewed this. It is a sobering reality how far the US and I might add, Canada, have fallen from the principles of these words of the founders of the US and it's more notable Presidents. Ronald Reagan's words at the last are very prophetic.
How close we are to the end. "Thy Kingdom Come".

Thank you so very much for posting this link. I've distributed it profusely among Christian friends... Folks, we ignore the principles contained in both parts of this presentation to our own peril, especially in this election year. Even now, the wolves are at the door in this country, braying constantly against what our Founding Fathers believed in - and what many died for.

Reg, I reiterate and reconfer your standing as a mensch... For a Canadian Christian to have posted this here, all I can say is, well, words aren't adequate in any expression of gratitude to you.

Thankyou reg for your web site I enjoyed that so much. It smarts a little though to think that some of our great presidents were in truth.......I dont know what?????????
I think this year I may break down and vote. I watched the debates the other night and I was extemely impressed with all of these men and women that are running in this campaign.
I really was.
But I must admiit as much as I want to be impartial I find that the tv influences me in my voting. A lot of the time I find myself looking at them and thinking yuk or judjing them on appearances which I honestly hate this about myself but alas I am human after all........drat it all.
I know politics is not something we are supposed to get into here but since this year it is a big thing Id like to post about my feelings.
Politics have ruined my family of origin.
Personally I think its like the topic of money in a marriage, theres no way to win on that one, best to shut up and go about your own business.
Politics very much plays a role in my SA I believe.
I want to remain free to make up my own mind.......so often Im not in with the crowd and actually thats anywhere.
Anyway basically this is what I believe deeply about all of it.......yes I love my country but its hard for me to understand how a great man like Thomas Jefferson can say what he said about God and then impregnate his very young slave girl......its true he did do that........or that the president that I loved more than anyone John F Kennedy was a womanizer to the max.
One after the other these men fall from my grace when these things come out about them untill now........I dont believe a single soul anymore.
I listen to one candidate and think hes got something special and I like him a lot, like what he is saying and then someone or something I read tells me this was all a ploy to gain votes and they did this or that just to fool this or that.

So what is this free country.........its like the church in a lot of ways.......its not what it seems to be.
We read words great profound things that are said and then look to these people to inspire us and then we find out what they are really made of.

Its like the bible........and church........I read the word and its a good true thing .........but is it reality in my world....... No it isnt.....the church isnt happening the way it is written.......
This is my country and my allegiance............'Jesus Christ' and then I am happy I live here because I can believe in JHim without being killed..... maybe.....so far so good for me anyway, not all of us are that lucky though.

I did vote for Ronald Reagan........not because I liked him or thought he was a good man or even believed in his policies to be honest I dont think I understood them.........therre are things he did in his office that have hurt me personally very severely and a huge amount of people. Things Im sure you are not aware of at all. Most people dont know these things about his desicions that have cost the mentally ill severe set backs in this country things I and my family pay for every day. I know he was just a man and he did what he thought was best at the time. It was wrong but he is not God none of them are.
I voted for him because at the end of his speech to accept his role for running for the republican party he said that he looked out to the west and saw that the sun was setting on America.
That simple thing went all over me..........I believe it was the Holy Spirit telling me if mankind here in this country does not get himself back to the truth of Jesus Christ and soon we are all doomed.
My country isnt a democracy with a congress and a house of representatives its a government with a king.........this king comes to have breakfast with me every day because He loves me so much. This king isnt running for anything.
