This I feel good about. I have always had an eerie, or may Erie feeling, about the apartment I have lived in. Between the anxiety attack, family upheaval and now no heat, it was time to move closer to work.

Urban ministry has never been my forte. With the current emotional baggage, it is too much to handle. The fact that I commute 40 miles and gas is over $3 pretty much clinched it for me.

I have also been somewhat out of the loop for meetings.

Feed back and prayers appreciated.

I'll pray.

Situation continues to deteriorate. Any one can PM off forum. I do not feel safe where I am. I am little irritated because I would rather share and participate in recovery from spiritual abuse than the latest crisis. It does get old.

ex-shep, Something happened to me that was a crisis at the time. Although, not as big a crisis as yours but it was to me at the time. Just before I went to services one Sunday, I discovered my car was broken into and my wallet and other things of value to me like my golf clubs were stolen. I went to services broken. I mentioned it to my friends there and went up for prayer. I not only got my wallet back with all my documentation but the insurance paid for a brand new set of clubs and the value of the other things that were stolen.

As it turned out, I was better off as a result of the thief. But it sure didn't feel like it at the time. I told this to someone at church and she said something to me that really meant a lot to me at the time that I never forgot. "God knows what you need." It was so simple yet so profound to me.

That is true. Romans 8.28 at its best I always say.

last night was trying with no heat. The cold triggers my asthma. Rigoletto was not too thrilled with the excessive blanket duty. What can I say cats make good electric blankets.

I came up $150 short for the rent and looking at the streets by next Friday. It will be interesting to see what the does with this. Wife does have an interview with a grocery store Wednesday. Pray that goes well.

Wife is starting to get religion on her issues. Housing is any body's guess. We want to get out of the inner city. We have had it. Also my work of reaching out to those spiritually abused has been on hold for months because of this.

Wife does have an interview with a grocery store near where I work Tuesday.

Pray that wife clears background check. No reason she should not. May have a part time job working at a grocery store. We heard from local neighbors that drug activity is starting to pick up. We want out. We have had it. Now the next challenge will be getting rent and deposit together on a new place.

Took a payday to cover the November rent. Church took care of December. No job leads for wife. Grocery store job did not pan out.
