I too was named after my grandmother.........and my mother.......and my father's mother is Elizabeth Jane.......bettyjane.

The Elisabeth is after my grandmother (but putting the "s" instead of the "z" in it was my mom's idea; guess she wanted to do something creative!) My middle name is Sue - after my aunt. :D I just thought it was a funny coincidence that your name is the same as my grandmother's! She also lived in New England - Massachussetts.

my mothers' grandmother (the first JE) lived in Vineyard Haven but is deceased........my mother was also born in Vineyard Haven.

is that the part of MA you are talking about???

my dad's side is from West Tisbury.....but he grew up in CT.....summers in West Tisbury.....

My brother's name is Levi......and he was named after my great grandfather with the same name.....
