Hi All,

I just wanted to keep you all posted on the adventures in church moving.

The congregation almost unanimously voted to go ahead with the sale of the building. There was one dissenting vote, two official abstainers, and a number of people who just had nothing to say.

The building will belong to a new church by September 20th.

As of the moment, our church doesn't know where it's going...well building wise anyway.

Those of you who know me well know that I have a few theological differences with the pastor of this church, but we've been relating to each other with mutual respect for the past 6 years.

I am in awe of how this process is unfolding. How can this many people be in agreement over such major decisions? How can so many express their willingness to remain a part of this body and work toward its future in spite of their discomfort over the work and uncertainty ahead?

I have rarely been so sure that I am seeing God's hand at work. It is soooo cool!
:D
