Went to the GI surgeon today.
he said my body will take AT LEAST a year just to heal from the radiation. Since it's only a PARTIAL obstruction, he said my body will tell me when and if I need surgery.
I already feel better then I did a few months ago thanks to your prayers. I had a bad bout 2 weeks ago and then again yesterday but, (sorry to be so blunt but, it is what it is)....i haven't vomited since the end of June. Burping alot more but still not able to pass gas.
He suggested lots of yougurt and activia to put some of the good bacteria into my body that the radiation has destroyed.
So......your continued prayers are appreciated. Holding steady at the moment at 120 lbs. and a size 4!!:eek::eek: For a 5'5" size woman I AM A TOOTHPICK!!!!

Will definitely keep praying for you Janice. My dear sister is fighting her battle with cancer right now too and the chemo is constantly making her feel ill. It breaks my heart to see it, but it has also deepened my compassion for those who battle it daily. I am glad for your positive report and pray you will have more. :)

Janice... have you discovered foods that are safe for you to eat? Ones that don't cause pain or make you sick? Just curious...
