Wife is still looking for work. Cannot make it on one income. Cat food running low.
I have a big interview for a promotion tommorow at 1630 GMT-6. Interview is going to be tough, but worth it. Day hours if I get it.

If you can buy the food... the gas comes naturally! At least it does with my cats! PEEEUUUUUUU
I'm still praying for you and chelle. Settling in a new place can be VERY unsettling!

Praying that you get the good job you need. :) And yep! The stuff that comes out of the back of my cat certainly stinks, currently have a covered litter box with a filter on top, that keeps the smell down most of the time.

Have third interview this afternoon. Wife has a temp assignment starting Tuesday. That take cares of the cel phone bill. Pray that goes well.
Cats are eating. Cupboards look full. Gas should hold out for the rest of the week.

There may be a light after all. My wife has an indefinite temp assignment. I am eager to get on a bill paying marathon.

It was gruelling. I was not prepared. Oh well.

Why so many interviews? These are for the same job... right??? Seems like one interview would be enough.

One would think so. It is a little warm today even for tropical wool. I still have to suit up for the court appearance for the expired Texas plates on Monday. At least the court reduced the fine to $140 from $200.

Maybe the odor from your suit will empty the court room and you won't have to worry about it... LOL

I simply insisted that my daughter wanted the cat with her during vacation. That was the truth, too. I had her checked ahead of time, rabies shot and computer chip inserted, obtain pet passport. I had to put her into a flexible carry-on bag as carry-on luggage since animals were not allowed to travel as baggage after 15th May (too hot). I determined that the cat would come with me at all costs. To avoid further problems I had to pay for a taxi to get to the airport, didn't want anything left to chance. The trip was grueling. At every checkpoint the cat had to be controlled, but was as wild as a banshee. I was so happy when we had finally arrived, cat and kids intact (even the luggage was all there!!), and was at the end of my wits. I was lucky the cat didn't yowl during the trip. Another woman's cats yowled and had to be put with the luggage despite the regulations.
How did the interviews go?

We had to take our kitty for an hour long car ride when we moved a few weeks ago. I had him in a kitty carrier in the back seat of the car, and he meowed the whole way. At least he didn't yowl, just a fairly constant meow. :D

Fidelio travels well. He loves every minute of it. It is torture for Rose.
