two Spiritual Abuse Forums?

Do you suppose we could have 2 different SA forums? One where bible quotes and prayer and religious talk can flow freely... and the other where it is more guarded and controlled for the sake of those who are traumatized by that kind of stuff? I think it's unfair to either type of survivor to not be able to express themselves freely. A fundamentalist and a liberal forum may provide the safe place for each of the people groups represented on our forum. Think?

Well,,,,,I resist the idea because I think it is important to learn to deal with things that trigger us..................Having said that,,,,,I am not the only one posting here,so if enough people make enough noise,I'll go to bat for giving it a try with "admin" ;)

Maybe the NACR General Forum could be converted to a Spiritual Abuse Forum. It's been moribund for a long time. R.I.P.

Willow and all........this is the main reason I havent been coming here is because of this issue but then heres the thing..........this IS the main issue anyway I think.
When people read the word and then make it into a 'religion' a 'law' freedom stops immediately and as scripture relates where the law is, there is death, meaning the kind of law that says YOU have to be this way or that to be accepted into the beloved.
Where as where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty and freedom to be who you are and to grow and be loved.
I think what we see going on in the forums is what we see going on in the church on the whole. I dont think anyone can control it. It will happen in either forum if we changed it into two forums on spiritual abuse one using scripture the other one not you'd still end up with fighting.
Its all very sad and upsetting and only love the kind of love that can die the way our Lord did can survive the pain of it all.
Its not a new thing, its an old thing. It killed Him and its killing me too. The people that crucified Jesus thought they were doing God a big favor by getting rid of Him because of His 'free' thought.
I so totally believe in the bible as being the word of God........that I take it literally when it says the only thing that overcomes is 'love'. What is love? Laying your life down for your friends the way Jesus did for us.
Im not sure I can do that the right way.........Im still pretty fleshy.
