OT: Clueless!

My step-father-in-law is a very opinionated man who tends to talk a lot and dominate every conversation. Today, however, was a little different. When we visited them, he wasn't talking the whole time, let others get words and ideas in edgewise, let us watch an interesting segment of the news without being interrupted, etc. I was thinking maybe he had finally gotten a clue that he didn't need to put in a constant stream of words when people came over to visit, and that others might want to say stuff too.:D Then, about a half hour ago he called, apologizing that he wasn't better company today. When my hubby asked him what he meant, he said, "Well, I was tired so I didn't say very much!" :eek::D My hubby said that's being good company.:cool: Let him chew on that for awhile.
