My husband had a doctor's appointment today. A few months ago the doctors had discovered he had an abnormal artery that connected his aorta to one of his lungs. Anyway, he went to the cardiosurgeon today, and he said that my husband will need surgery. The surgery is extremely major; will have to jack his rib cage up, remove the artery, and repair his heart and lung to a more normal consideration. My husband has had problems with that lung all his life; now they know why, and the surgeon says that if he doesn't have this done, it could rupture with no warning and that would, literally, be sudden death. It's by the grace of God it hasn't ruptured yet. But the surgery, of course, has risks too; it's surgery on his heart and lungs! So please pray for Arnold and I.
