Praying for you, Abby! :( I know how it feels to think that everything is okay, and be really, really happy and relieved, only to find out everything might not be okay! :(

You CAN do all that is required of you.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
I have been through cancer and I had to do it all. The biopsies, the scans, the surgeries. The worries, the shakes.... I am alive 23 years later. You can and you must do it.
I remember the nights. They were the worst.
But "His mercies are new every morning."
God is real. He provides your doctors and the treatments. Please do what they say.... EVERYTHING!
BTW, you said in your title...."they found a lump," Where?

You'll be in my prayers. "In our weakness He is strong" Lean on Him and He'll be there closer now more than ever.:)

Abbey,
As one person asked where is the lump? So sorry to hear that the cancer may have returned.
I know what it is like to have it to return. My emotions were like a roller coaster for a while. God understood and gave me space. Then I drew closer to Him.
This has been about 15 years a go. The type of cancer I had, most women don't survive it the first time. Ovarian cancer tends to have symptoms that can be related to other health issues.
At least you are getting early detection. Is your doctor 100% sure the cancer has returned?
I'm praying for you.

Could be as simple as surgical scar tissue, even if it isn't at the point of the wound ;)

It IS at the point of the wound Jerry! Ive had this lump since the get go! I just called Karmanos cancer center for another opinion. Im not to sure about this surgeon? He even knew right off that the intial lump was cancer, yet failed to express that, becasue he thought id get to upset. Now hes talking, swelling from the suture or a reoccurance of cancer? I feel he may NOT have gotten it all in surgery. Heck If I get anymore tongue cut out, Ill have a stub and wont be able to speak!

What is it they say about "great minds," Jerry? Running in the same direction??? :) That's what we discussed in a PM and frankly, scar tissue was the first thing I thought of. I thought (having been through this myself and with other people), what would they be more likely to find than scar tissue in our dear Abbey so soon after the primary surgery?
Praying, praying, praying - and then some more praying, for healing for you, Abbey, and for as much peace of mind as healing!
Love,
mary
