Hi guys. It's been a while since I posted. I'm just so enjoying being free. You know. I look back on the time I lost and that is my only regret. From time to time I still hear about issues that go on at that "place" as my wife calls it. I have to admit it was a learning experience. Now... honestly, I am enjoying spending the time I now have getting to know my family and relatives.

My cousins and old friends sometimes ask... "Where the heck have you been?" I just tell them, I've been here." The funny thing is, they are still wonderful. How crazy I was to let people tell me to give up the wonderful things that God gave us... the friendships and good times. We are enjoying having folks over our house and just watching movies with some people we really just like being with.

You know when we were at that "place" they tried so isolate us from everything. Stupid really. God never isolated himself, he made himself available. Granted, I don't do some of the things that my relatives do, but to be real honest, they know we are Christians and don't ask. We've had a few families give their lives to Christ and turn their lives around, by just being good friends. (As God is to us).

It's funny, I think now that we are not under such rules and regulations, we actually have time to have fun in God. We are doing things that we like and I think we have brought more people to God in the time we left than many yrs of being in hard core bondage.

Just thought I'd give you guys an update. Hope you too are enjoying your new life in Christ. Do something you enjoy. Spend time laughing... because if you are out, you "can" now. You just may have some fun that you hadn't had in a long time.

Cheers... and God bless ya. Have a supurb day today.

Love it, absolutely love it! I have been wondering how to make the SA affect my relationship with my own relatives, and "bridge the chasm" so to speak. That's it! Enjoy my own freedom and just love them for the great people they are! :) :)

SOOOO glad you checked in! :)

What a timely post right after Easter Sunday. The joy of the resurrection is all dancing behind your words! :D

Being caught in the snare of "religion" is just the kind of death Jesus spoke against - and your expression of having been set free is just the kind of life Jesus offers all of us.

Being set free ain't easy is it???? ;) Good stuff comes with a price.

Rejoicing with you,
Anna Marta

Thanks for sharing!:D

When I first left church I had a hard time on Sundays. I would wait till church services were over then I would feel free to do as I please.

If I left home to do something at worship time I would feel very guilty.

If there were" Church Cops" I would of been arrested for sure. :(

Now I think of it the people I feared where in church but their God was watching me. I was sure He was going to get me.

I got over that after a few mo. :D

I started to enjoy my family and the freedom I did have from my GOd.:D

I felt more closer to GOd on our little rides we took than I ever did in church!!:D butterlfy shirley
