The past few days I've been in e-mail contact with a person who is a member of a church related to our former abusive church... This person sees and has been on the receiving end of the abuse, and wants to leave. The crisis point has been reached... I've given counsel and advice... now is the time for prayer..... I will keep you posted as able.....

Please, please pray....

I don't need to tell you how to pray.. Ya'all been there... Done that... Got the t-shirt...

Dear God Almighty... Please break the bonds and chains.... Shine Thy light and love abundantly upon Thy hurt and wounded sheep.... Draw near and comfort the afflicted.. Be the Good Sheperd to Thy crying and hurting child this night....... Amen...

I pray they see the truth of the situation. That's were the freedom will come from.

Christ came to set us free from the captors.

Gal 5:1 ¶ Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not again be held with the yoke of bondage. (MKJV)

Gal 2:4 But because of those false brothers stealing in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus; they desiring to enslave us; (MKJV)

And finally:

Isa 61:1 ¶ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah [is] on Me; because the LORD has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (MKJV)

It's now more then a week latter, and I'm not sure what's happining with our friend. A few days ago I received a VERY brief note asking for continued prayer, and saying they would write more details latter...

As it comes to your mind please continue to pray... When I can report something, more, I will...
