Hi All,
Finally some good news in this house! :)
Grace has had a good last 24 hours with no additional episodes of changing her foundational color from pink to blue. :D She nursed like a pro last night and was doing really well.
On the other hand, Grammy had her hands full here at the OK Corral. Ryan (7) was sent home from school sick - had thrown-up at school. I kept him on ice chips and dry crackers all afternoon which he tolerated well. Mommy came home for dinner, felt sorry for him and let him have chocolate ice cream before bed, then dashed off to the hospital to feed the baby.
Sooooo guess who got who woke up to the sound of gagging and arrived just in time to see the fountain all over the carpet and floor in upstairs hallway??? It wasn't until this morning when I entered the kitchen to get coffee that I realized I had been so *out-of-it* that I went back to bed with the "stuff" on the bottom of my pj's. No wonder the beagle wanted to sleep with me last night. He thought I smelled great!
Can't complain though cause I am getting lots of cuddle time with the boys. Now that I have been able to establish that I am "alpha" in this group, they have stopped pushing boundaries and I no longer have to raise my voice or jump out of my chair like I did when *first responses* were critical to proving who is the real authority.
Let us hope that mommy and daddy can continue to follow up. They call me Nanny 911 cause I have changed the rules and peace has begun to reign.
Guess you can tell how very special this time has been for all of us. As is God's way, He has arranged for us as a family to become much closer and thankful for each other thru this difficult time. What a good God we have! :D
Love and hugs
