Anyone here speak Russian at all??? Or Serbian??? or any other Slavic languages???
Was checking the site stats for the exWitch Australia Site and discoved I'd had a cpl of hits from this page - http://uath.org/index.php?news=1105 - it's in Russian (I assume) *shrugs* at any rate it's the Crylic alphabet... and right at the very bottom there is link back to exWitch Australia (among others) in what I assume is sources of quotes used in the article...
I'd be quite interested in what the article says...
Can anyone help???
JL, there are, I believe, some people at my shul (they're Russian Jewish Christians) who speak and read fluent Russian. It's their first language, then Yiddish, then English. They do pretty well in English, I have to say.
Did I ever give you my e-mail address? If not, I'll give it to you in a PM. Maybe I could download the material and one of them could translate it for you.

will do a paragraph or two. Of course that does not account for the alphabet. If you are planning to do extensive translation, there are software translation packages for around $40US. Most of those can be purchased directly on line and downloaded in a few minutes with a high speed connection. Others may need to go to dinner, catch a performance of Richard Wagner's Götterdämmerung, or spend the evening reading War and Peace. :p

Up at the top of the page, under the title, there is a "Switch to English" link. It can also be reached by going here (http://uath.org/english.php).
In the future, if the site does not offer its own translation, you can use the google language tools (http://www.google.com/language_tools). They translate both text and web pages, depending on the option you choose. I'm not sure of the accuracy but have often managed to at least get a vague understanding in most cases. Hope this helps. :)
