Just stopping for a moment to consider this holiday and what it means to me.
I'm so incredibly thankful for the way things always seem to work out for me. Things have been hard, but I did indeed make a new start. With the guidance of God's graceful hand, I found a good job, bought a new condo, was able to keep my beloved horse, found an affordable place to board here in my new location, made new friends, re-established a meaningful relationship with my parents, began dating, was protected from my own adventurous spirit, and learned new rites of adulthood. Last year at this time, there was lots of stuff I had not yet experienced. I now have learned about romance, alcohol, biker bars, motorcycles, my own limits, my own abilities, and best of all... pressed back my social fears. I've gone on medication that has helped me tremendously, bought another horse, joined a saddle club, met a drumming circle, made friends in unusual places, discovered my differnces with those outside of the church are both extreme and minimal... all at the same time.
Most important of all... I have learned more and shared more here and stuck through the hard stuff.
I guess I'll stop there. Just wanted to share my selah moment.
Love ya'll
