OK....Urologist says he doesn't think it's a stone!!! I will have an IVP test Wed. morning at 9:00 am. just to make sure. He showed me my CT scan and the many calcium deposits AROUND my ureta. He says there doesn't seem to be any in the tube and the IVP test will find out for sure.
Since Sunday, my pain has been DECREASING which I am extremely thankful for. Yesterday, I took 4 LESS pills then I usually do, and this morning I was up for 45 min. before I had to take any. (I usually need them as soon as I awake.)
So.....the saga continues. Thankful for pain relief but this whole thing seems to be dissappearing as quickly as it came.
I even drove to the convience store last night!
Today, I will act as normal as I can. I plan to do the food shopping, & various other side trips and errands.
All of this is too weird. I wonder if an appendix can "act up" every now & then without being detected. My white count was normal so who knows.
Still disgusted but this whole thing is much easier to handle with the pain lessening.
The real test will be when I run out of meds completely which will probably be the beginning of next week sometime.
Thanks for the prayers because I KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN HELPING MY PAIN!!!
Maybe I'll never know what this is/was?????

Just wondering if you could have passed a kidney stone? Did he say anything about that

So grateful that your pain is better tho......................

I surely do hope the reprieve of pain is due to healing and not just the meds.
Still praying for you.

There is such a thing as a stone that is not radiopaque/calcified... IVP definitely a good idea, and should show hydronephrosis or other secondary signs of blockage if they are there.

*thinks* Seems to me, if the treatment is working, keep it up! With any grace, your surmise was correct, and the relief is because you're dissolving whatever stone material IS there.
