Getting back to normal.

Looks like I'll be starting back to work the week of Dec. 10.

THANKS ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!

Well......we're going to celebrate this weekend! (Thanks God for disability checks which can be saved!)

This weekend is our 24th wedding anniversary. Hubby has been soooo great through all of this!

I took the liberty of booking us a room in a very romantic setting! The room has no windows! It has a fireplace, round bed, jacizzi, AND a swimming pool right in the room!

may be a bit extravagant but after the ordeal we've been through, I say, "who cares!"

We're leaving this evening & comming home Sunday!

LOL..yep..I hope to be very exhausted when we get back!

See you then.

Thanks all for you well wishes.

We had a fantastic time but sorry Reg....I can't give TOO MANY deltails!;) :D

What I will tell you is we went on a horse drawn carriage ride, went to watch "the newlywed, not-so-newlywed" game, played pool, walked and talked while looking at the beautiful pocono mountains, watched kerioke (nope, i didn't sing) :D .

Breakfast & dinner were included and it was family style eating so we met alot of people from various places. Even hit it off with one couple and we exchanged addresses & numbers.

The room had no windows so we had no clue of time. It was awesome.

AND WE DIDN'T FALL OFF THE ROUND BED! :D ;) :D

Glad yoiu had a great time.

My former group kept the Feast of Tabernacles for the full eight days. Our closest Feast site back
in the late 60's and early 70's was the Poconos. I know the area very well. I stayed one year at The
Pump House Inn Skytop Road in Canadensis. What a great place to eat. It had an exclusive wine
cellar and some of the best food around. I also remember the many places that were for
newlyweds. One ad had a heart-shaped bathtub displayed. :) I also remember the Mount Airy
Lodge. It was were the ministers stayed. All in all, it is a terrific spot to get away from the rat
race.

In the early years feast goers outnumbered the town’s population. We are talking about 5,000
people. We had a large auditorium on our own property that held that many. It was huge and I
remember the traffic problems. We used to have two services on the two Holy Days of the Feast,
and one a day on ordinary Feast days. And to get out to have lunch after the morning services and
be back by for the afternoon services was difficult. Several just brought a lunch so they wouldn’t
have to deal with the traffic and the rush.

Here’s a picture of it in this article. You’ll have to scroll down near the bottom.

envy :p ;)

Yeah, I'll get over it. Haven't been up to the Poconos in years. Beautiful country. I bet it was some of the best R&R! :D

(((((Janice!))))))

This is one of the very few times I'm happy to be able to say, "I told you so!" :D :D :D I knew these days would come for you, that you'd recover, be able to take a romantic weekend or so with your hubby, go back to work, etc. The Lord has been so good to you and you've been faithful to Him; He does deal so very mercifully and lovingly with us! Wow!

I'm so happy for you, Janice, that I can't even articulate it - especially in this kind of a format. Just know my joy for you is there and you're still being prayed for! What a wonderful testimony you give - and what a brave lady you are!

Mazel tov - and l'chaim (to life)!

Love,

mary
