Still Standing... Amazed

I had to take a timeout to catch my breath from the board over the last several days; waiting for final eviction papers took a great deal of energy and strength to keep focused on the Lord... We were expecting papers yesterday or today, as we received word that final papers were hand-delivered to sheriff's office last Tuesday! (Grace not to deliver them over Thanksgiving weekend???) We received a call from the landlord's wife Sunday night asking questions about my hubby's new job (3 weeks ago he found the first true career opportunity job since our pastor destroyed life as we knew it 9 yrs ago). We received a 2nd call last night; again our landlord's wife. She wanted to inform us that she had convinced her husband to recind the eviction as of today... we have another 30 days to pay a month's rent and she told us to pay whatevere we could on the old balance of even $50 per month! Thank you to all of you who prayed for me and this situation (the fervent prayers of the righteous avails much, indeed!) It truly is a BeginningAgain-New Beginning... but, also a strong sense in my spirit... JUST the beginning. I am in absolute awe.:eek:

Oh Rose this post was down a ways so i didnt read it until just now. What a blessing? God is so good to us. I am so very happy for both of you! Now more prayer for everything else. This just makes me so happy and also helps my faith to revive...........wow! Hope never fails does it?:)

My experieces is this forum have run the gammet to be sure... but nothing could have prepared me for yesterday. I want to give honor while keeping the confidence of this generosity. To be contacted by someone offering to pay our December rent is beyond overwhelming! My husband is so amazed as well and the tangible, measurable relief of this burden being lifted is far more than answered prayer. This truly is a serendipity of such proportion, we shall never forget. Thank you again for your support and encouragement everyone... but especially....;) :)
