Didn't sleep very well last night as it is obvious from my posting time.
Hopefully, I will have enough medicine in me by church time so I can go to church this morning. I haven't been in 2 weeks and the last time I was there I was in so much pain I wished I had stayed home.
It's Thanksgiving Sunday and,it helps me to count my blessings and even though I am going through this torture at the moment, I know there are those who are worse off than me.
Part of me would love to go to the Baptist church I work for rather than my own church. The church I work for has sent me cards & phone calls and the pastor calls me several times a week and prays with me.
My pastor has not called me once!! (But, if I start to get into that I will get more angry and my pain will escalate so I better stop now.)
There have been 2 friends from my own church who have called & voluntered to make a meal for my family which has helped trememdously since my mom has hurt her back this week and was down 3 days last week with the flu.
I'm supposed to have Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday and, the house is a mess, the shopping is not done, nor is any decorating, I have a half finished kitchen floor, and if I don't find a way to get my bathrooms scrubbed soon the board of health is going to consider them a heath risk for sure!
I'm so thankful to be able to share with you all again, even if I can only sit for a short time.
