Hi, Is there anyone here who has left the Mormon Church?

I'm not aware of anyone off the top of my head, but I am aware that there has been a lot of spiritual abuse that has taken place in the Mormon church - possibly more than any other denomination out there. Spiritual abuse tactics and symptoms are pretty much the same across the board and don't seem to know any denominational boundaries.

Have you suffered spiritual abuse in that church? If so, this is a safe place to discuss it.

Great question. Do a internet search for ex-Mormons. I cannot think of specific sites. The quality of the sites varies all over the lot. Play with them and stay with what it most comfortable.

At the same welcome aboard. The forum can definitely handle any general questions of spiritual abuse, and recovery and readjustment concerns after group involvement. I was the only one who came out of an abusive Christian group when I went to an ex-cult members support group in 1984. What I quickly discovered, was that I had the same issues as one who came out of a therapy group or one out of a group with an Eastern bent. I was in good company. There is always somebody who has been there, seen it, done that and got the T-shirt. Feel free to share whatever is on your heart and mind.
