I don't follow football. So it does not mean anything to me. Now college basketball or baseball. Jerry is just upset that the Cardinals won the Series:p

Dear Anna,,,,
Civility in the forum ?????????? This transends civility !!!!!! It's about FOOTBALL !!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Love Jerry
Okay -- I'm coming back for this one - just this once for now !;)
We've lost Schembechler... Our "real coach" (no slight to Mr. Carr, whom my son knew) has passed... He died at 11:42 a.m. at Providence Hosp. in Southfield... It's all over the TV here.
They're probably kicking up their heels in Columbus, but just as we mourned Woody Hayes, so they should empathize with our loss of Glenn Edward (Bo) Schembechler. :( :( :(

Play Station 3. How much does one want to best that the senior pastor at my church will bring it in Sunday's sermon? :D
Thanks, Marcy & Jo Jo!
See, Jerry and I are in this strange state (Jerry, let me have my say! :) ) that consists of two peninsulas and in the fall, is populated by Wolverines. The UP is pretty and the lower half of the lower peninsula is, well, not quite as pretty...
But come football season, we all divide into Wolverine and Spartan camps. Now, who is rooting for Michigan State right now? Not I. I only root for them if they're playing Notre Dame, anyway. (No slight to Notre Dame: I was taught the words to the Notre Dame fight song by my grandma shortly after I could talk.) So if you're living where Jerry and I live and you're not rooting for the Spartans... Well, it is a big game tomorrow and since some of us live within an easy drive of both Michigan Stadium and Ford Field (uh, that's where the Lions play, and nobody here in their right mind wants to talk about them... ), then we might as well talk about the UM-OSU game tomorrow.
Personally, I think UM is going to get handed their rears tomorrow. The death of Bo Schembechler has taken the wind out of everyone's sails around here, even though the guy had been expected to keel over for the last 37 years or so. He had an awfully good run.
I'm a big football fan (doesn't show, does it? :p - that's what it took to bring me back to the forum - ;) ). My personal, gut-level prediction for tomorrow: OSU 31, UM 24. Sorry, Jerry. I hope I'm wrong...
(Speaking of awfully good runs: in case anyone recalls... My hematologist told me today that I do not have leukemia... That's the good news. The bad news is that the biopsy from last week showed that I have a "1% functional bone marrow," and what I probably have is "hypoplastic myelodysplasia," which I gather from what he said is a rather indolent, rare, pre- to frankly malignant bone marrow syndrome. I've had much, much longer than anyone expected me to when I was first diagnosed at age 22. I'm scheduled for another bone marrow and a platelet antibody test on Dec. 1 because he wants to "establish the diagnosis." I am absolutely cool with this. For some reason, I just didn't want to hear "acute lymphocytic leukemia" today and the Lord spared me that. Thanks so very much to anyone who prayed for me. I do feel that prayers were answered and I am blessed! Would feel somewhat more like celebrating if I weren't so blasted tired all the time... )
Thanks to all for putting up with me...

I am shocked my alma matar won their divisional championship this year. I would have to go into specifics off forum. Midwest State had a vicious rivalry with Cambridge Eastern University. I had a job transporting students from CE to the regional airport on the weekends. I quickly discovered the CE Hawks fans had no animosity towards Midwest State and would be hard pressed to know where Midwest City was located. Mention Keggling A&M and I would practically need to call the police. Hey, I got good tips for the run. :D
Football never did it for me, now college basketball, watch out. I could never get enough of it.

So, are you going to disappear on us when the race to the Final Four gets going????? :D :D :D
(Re: the World Series - the Tigers got out-managed and out-played. The Cards deserved to win, even with their regular season record. Jim Leyland as "manager of the year" - when he didn't start Kenny Rogers in Game One? What a stupid choice. Every moron with a computer around here wanted to dash Leyland off a blistering e-mail when we found out he was starting Verlander. 'Nuff said.)

What's a Woverine? And something about ballroom dancing in 12 minutes. I guess I not sure what the two have to do with rural real esate.
I thought crow was not very edible. I think chicken is far better.
I guess am confused about the spanking. Are Wolverine a set children in primary school. I did not think coporal punishment was legal in Ohio.
Let me get a cup of coffee and I will try to decipher the message. And this message is coming from an admin? :p
