Well, this Sunday is our turn to have the new little house/church/fellowship/whatever you call it - at our house. I am making a barrel of baked ziti and iced tea and the world's biggest banana cake. Steinar only eats greenish bananas and buys too many so when they get ripe they have to be used or frozen. I have more than a dozen to use up!!! Oh that man :o

We have gotten a hold of a copy of The Covenant , the musical written and performed in Isreal that has pretty much rocked that nation. We're going to offer to put it on for anyone who would like to see it after the meal and sharing/worship time. We start at 13:30 our time.

Jesus has a magnificent "bit" part that is so cleverly done. He forgives the woman caught in adultery then fades into the crowd. She asks who he was and gets a variety of answers from the crowd. Thought provoking to say the least! We hope it will spark some great sharing. Highly recommend seeing it if you can get a copy. Ours even has texting in Norwegian.

Please pray for us. We're pretty much trying to listen to Father God and allow Him to lead, but you know this is NOT as easy as it sounds when Wayne Jacobson describes it!

Things are slowly coming to light about others at the church.
We pray for God's mercy on those pastors.

That's so true - It's the hardest being leaders... the books never tell you that part.

You both have such dear sensitive hearts.... it sounds like a good time, and good food, focusing on God. That's all it takes, he'll do the rest and provide all the suprises. ;)

I'll add mine to the other's prayers. :)

Wow, Anna Marta! It sounds exiting, hope the meeting is edifying. You have my support in prayer. I wish you guys all of the wisdom and peace God can dish up.

I have to do the frozen banana thing too sometimes. What also works is baking three breads at a time (you gotta have three tins for this), eat one and freeze two. The ovens here are usually smaller than American ones, but three tins still fit well. If I do pies I can barely fit two in, the tins start to lap over each other. I may have to bake this weekend too, the eggs have to be used up so I can get fresh ones. Another alternative for bananas is bread "pudding" if you eat that kind of thing. Uses up old bread too. My kids like it warm with cinnamon and whipped cream on top, me too. It is nearly time for dinner here....
