Help please! I've figured out how to create my buddy list, however, when I see someone who is online and on my list I don't know how to send them an instant message. I've used the "faq" and read about private messages but can find nothing about snding instant messages. Thanks for your help!

If you click on a person's name(at the top of a post), a drop-down list of options appears. One of these options is "send a private message". This takes you to the private messaging system. It is not quite the same as "instant messaging" but it can sometimes function that way. If the person you are sending a message to is online at the time you send a message AND if they have the "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up" option selected in their profile, then they will be notified immediately of your message. If they are offline or do not have that option selected, then they will be notified when they next logon to the system--in the box to the right of the header where it says "Welcome...". The bottom line will show the number of unread private messages. Click on "private messages" to read them.

You can also send a private message by going to your control panel (USER/CP) and selecting "Send New Message" from the nav bar on the left.
