Does the NACR forum software have a feature where an e-mail notification can be automatically sent to the subscriber when replies to one's message thread are posted? Two other forums I use, an Exercise and a Prostate Cancer forum, have this handy feature.

Have you tried the "subscribe thread" function? There is a Thread Tools menu at the top of each thread with an entry to "subscribe" to a thread, and one of the options says "instant email notification". This leads me to think that maybe if you "subscribe" to a thread, the server can pop you an email if a new response is posted to that thread.

Worth a shot...

Well........ I "subscribed" to this thread, and though I could go to it separately (check under the user c/p for subscribed threads), it didn't pop me a notification that the thread had been posted in. Ah well. Half good, then.

Me too, I'm new here and don't know how this all works. Can someone explain it to us? How do you know when someone has posted to you back etc?
