To figure this out. Both how it works and what effect the new forum has on me. I think I'm realizing that I feel lonely and left out because people can't respond to my responses. In order to get feedback (attention?) you must post a new thread. And if your thread isn't interesting, or whatever, you don't get much response or feedback (or attention...) I guess I'm seeing clearly how much I was looking to the forum for a sense of belonging and community and general acceptance. It's not as easy to just casually fit in, here, now...

Anyone else feel this way????

(((HOL))), I *totally* hear you on this!!! This style is VERY isolating ... and that is NOT what any community is about imho. Community is about *intereacting* and *feeling included* ... which is NOT happening here now. This software is sadly a GREAT way to break up the forum!!! I *pray* that they use something much BETTER for the nacr site ... good efforts, guys, and I really appreciate all your work here ... but this just really ain't working! :(

Em, I'm sorry you're feeling this way, too. Hopefully Jerry is right and we'll get more used to it. I think I miss being able to view everything at once and get a feel for who is where and when and all that. I still feel like there are posts and messages I'm missing somewhere amongst all these options and buttons.

I am glad that folks like Mary are feeling safer here. That is important. I guess we'll just have to hang tough for awhile, and try to watch out for one another, too, huh....

hey (((Hol)))! It is way safer this way .... and we can see the posts we are replying to so that's a big help. But it seemed like for awhile I could change viewing options and now I can't? And I coulda sworn that one of those options included seeing the posts all threaded out ... so we *could* see who all had already posted to the post. Still confused! :confused:
