SIZE=2]Well, it's been 2 weeks ago today that I hurt my back.
Getting very discouraged! Dr. says its just a sprain but I'm beginning to wonder.
I think I've built up a tolerance to the pain medicine because it is taking twice as much medicine to get any relief! I know you know how that part bothers me and what kind of tricks that is playing with my head. I AM HONESTLY TAKING THEM FOR THE PAIN THOUGH!
I have another appointment with my family Dr. on Monday. I will tell him about this pain and demand an MRI. I will ask him for something stronger for pain
(I hate to go there but, I am in agony!). I also asked them to make up a referral to see a nureo-surgeon, and asked them to copy my medical records so I can bring them to the nureo-surgeon on my first visit.
I really don't want ANOTHER back surgery. , but, not going to put the "cart before the horse" just yet. I wake in the middle of the night and have to take meds sometimes. If I sleep thru the night without meds (like now) I wake with the pain being a 9 on a scale of 1-10. Yesterday it took me 6 pills in 3 hrs. before I STARTED to feel relief. WAY TOO MANY PILLS!!!! Prayers are appreciated.[/SIZE]
