George, George, George of the jungle...........watch out for that tree!!!:D :D :D
I will give it to the 60's, they had the best cartoons. I must give my brother, the cartoon master, all the credit for my love of cartoons!
Foghorn Leghorn -- I do think that some pastors may have modeled themselves after him. ;) :p Pompous, arrogant rooster = pompous, arrogant clergyman... :D Obviously, he was supposed to be a caricature of a Southern politician, but picture him as "Rev. Leghorn" and he fits a few ministers you may have known.
Now, Heckle and Jeckle (sp?) and Huckleberry Hound were cool.
Okay, tke316, what was the name of Quickdraw McGraw's compadre? (He called him "Queeksdraw," I think...)

Marcy, you are correct!!! (No one's checking spelling; I wouldn't know how the writers spelled it anyway!) Snagglepuss -- ah, what memories that brings back!!!:D :D :D
What fun it is to be here today! I'm 13 again!!! :)

Quick Draw also had the best characters. I love Snooper and Blabber. And Auggie Doggy.
I am an inveterate Warner Bros aficionado. The MGM cartoons penned by Tex Avery are my perennial favorites.
